1) Why localize the product
Localization is not only a translation of words, but an adaptation of meaning, formats, visual and expectations. Competent localization speeds up activation (TTFV), increases conversion and trust, and reduces support and failures.
Key principles:- i18n → l10n → transcreation: first technical readiness, then translation, then creative adaptation of meaning.
- Local regulations: language, legal requirements, payment patterns, age restrictions, responsible use.
- Accessibility and inclusion: fonts, contrasts, RTL/LTR, alternatives to colors.
2) I18n-foundation (before translation)
Interface structure:- All texts are in resources ('keys'), without "hard-wired" strings.
- Pluralization and gender: support for plural and gender rules.
- Date/number/currency: via local-aware formatters (delimiters: ', '/'.'; gaps of thousands).

Tonality: respectful, clear, no jargon; keeping the intention rather than the literal slogan.
Microcopies: short phrases, useful verbs, local examples.
Legal clarity: terms and pricing - near CTA; local terms (taxes, commissions).
Responsible topics: in risk domains - warnings, limits, age markers.
- Meaning ≠ verbatim; cultural appropriateness tested.
- Units: ° C/° F, km/miles, 24h/12h.
- Forms of address: T/V (you/you), honorifics (JP/KR).

Deadlines and commissions: show until consent; format familiar to the region.
Age and responsible messages: in entertainment/games - limits, timeouts, support contacts.
Consent and privacy: separate; clear language; quick opt-out.

7. 1 Europe (DE, FR, ES, IT, Nordics)
DE: accuracy, directness, detailed conditions, confidence in banking/invoices; not "scream" promo.
FR: tone polite, aesthetics, neat marketing, clear legal side.
ES/IT: friendliness, visual cues, mobile focus, WhatsApp/IBAN reality.
Nordics: minimalism, dark theme ok, English is often acceptable, but locale is appreciated; strong sensitivity to privacy.
7. 2 Eastern Europe and CA (UA, PL, KZ, UZ)
